Account Development Representative (ADR)


Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy and dynamic Account Development Representative (ADR) for identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound emails, calls, chats, and social messaging. At times the position straddles both the ADR and SDR roles, handling both inbound leads as well as identifying and contacting outbound opportunities.

The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company’s needs, evaluate and improve on pitch content, and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically.>


  • Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects

  • Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales teams

  • Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts

  • Identify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to begin sales cycle

  • Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak schedule a demo or call with Sales

  • Strong and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation

  • Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application

  • Evaluate, A/B test, and improve on prospecting scripts to continually improve conversion rates. Leverage CRM data to segment contacts for optimizing timing and approach.


  • 1+ year of successful experience in a marketing, sales, or telemarketing role

  • Strong and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation

  • Experience in direct customer or prospect-facing roles

  • Strong organization and analytical skills.

  • High attention to detail and record keeping.

  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with CRM applications preferred, particularly Hubspot

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
